Description

Cheesy Seafood Bake is a rich and satisfying dish perfect for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, and crab meat)
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the mixed seafood and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the scallops are opaque. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Remove from heat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well until smooth.
  4. Fold in the cooked pasta and the sautéed seafood mixture until everything is evenly coated with the cheesy sauce.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Pour the seafood and pasta mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  8. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Let the dish cool slightly before serving.
