Description

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub the olive oil all over the chicken thighs, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the skin and underneath.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a cast-iron skillet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
