Description

Crispy Shrimp is a delightful and crunchy seafood treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably for extra crunch)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs. Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
  3. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, dip in the beaten eggs, and coat in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve the crispy shrimp hot with lemon wedges on the side.

  • Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
