Description

Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp is a quick and delicious seafood dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
