- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
