Description

Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp is a quick and delicious seafood dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and sesame oil. Whisk together until well mixed.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet, reserving the marinade for later use. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with the cooked shrimp. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
