- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Pour in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly. Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, carefully invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar if desired, slice, and enjoy!
