Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until blended.
- Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Cut into squares and serve as is or with powdered sugar or ice cream.
