Description

A delicious veggie side dish featuring roasted broccoli with garlic and Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh lemon juice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.
  3. Spread the broccoli mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy on the edges. Stir halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot broccoli. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
