- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh lemon juice (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy on the edges. Stir halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot broccoli. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
