Description

Garlic Parmesan Shrimp is a quick and delicious seafood dish that bursts with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Cooked pasta or rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and stir gently to combine.
  5. Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp and mix well. Remove from heat.
  6. Serve the garlic Parmesan shrimp over cooked pasta or rice, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
