Description

High Protein Lemon Herb Steak and Shrimp Stir Fry is a nutritious and flavorful dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced sirloin steak and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the steak.
  4. Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the chopped parsley and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Let the steak marinate for at least 15 minutes for better flavor.
  • Adjust the cooking time for shrimp based on size.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables as desired.
