Ingredients

  • 1 x 12 inch pizza crust
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ½ cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 ounces basil leaves, torn
  • Olive oil, a drizzle

Instructions

  1. PREPARE THE OVEN: Preheat your pizza oven to 850°F (450°C) or kitchen oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone inside.
  2. PREPARE THE PIZZA CRUST: Lightly dust your work surface or pizza peel with flour. Place the pizza crust on the floured surface.
  3. ADD SAUCE AND TOPPINGS: Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the base, leaving a ½ inch border. Scatter mozzarella slices and torn basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. COOK THE PIZZA: In the Ooni oven, cook for 2-3 minutes, rotating every 20 seconds. In the kitchen oven, cook for 8-10 minutes until crisp.
  5. SERVE: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil and olive oil. Serve immediately.
