Description
A simple and delicious juicy burger recipe perfect for grilling season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend for optimal juiciness)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- Sliced cheese (optional)
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles for toppings
- Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Be careful not to overwork the meat to keep the burgers tender.
- Form Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- Preheat Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Cook Patties: Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if desired.
- Add Cheese: If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
- Toast Buns: Optionally, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute until golden brown.
- Build Your Burger: Place the cooked patties on the bottom half of the buns, and add your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Finish with your choice of condiments.
- Serve: Place the top half of the buns on the burgers and serve immediately.
