- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbly.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Toss gently to combine.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
