Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine the shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbly.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Toss gently to combine.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
