Description

Peanut Butter Mocha Overnight Oats is a delicious and energizing breakfast option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chopped peanuts or chocolate chips (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, brewed coffee, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined and the peanut butter is evenly distributed.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a jar or airtight container. Seal it tightly and place it in the refrigerator. Let it sit overnight or for at least 4-6 hours to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and flavors.
  3. In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency. Top with chopped peanuts or chocolate chips if desired, and enjoy your energizing breakfast!

Notes

  • Letting the oats sit overnight enhances the flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness to your preference.
