Description

Quick Beefaroni is a comforting dish made with ground beef, pasta, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (with their juice), beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Add the elbow macaroni and stir well.
  5. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender and the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Serve the Beefaroni hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
