Description

A quick and flavorful seafood dish featuring shrimp seared with garlic and lemon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated. Let marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until hot. Add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Toss to combine. Serve the seared shrimp hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
