Description

A quick and easy seafood delight featuring shrimp in garlic butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Squeeze the lemon juice over the cooked shrimp and stir to combine.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
