Method
- Gather all your ingredients: 3 large eggs and 3 tablespoons of softened cream cheese.
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks, placing the whites in a large mixing bowl and the yolks in another bowl.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the softened cream cheese and mix until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the cream cheese and egg yolk mixture, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
- Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming about 6 mounds, and create a slight indentation in the center of each mound.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the cloud bread cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Cloud bread is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
