- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- If marinating, mix lemon juice, olive oil, and herbs, and let the fish sit for 15-30 minutes.
- Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs in the third.
- Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Place the breaded fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Lightly spray the tops of the fillets with cooking spray and air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the fillets are golden brown before serving.
- Serve with lemon wedges and your choice of sides.
