Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon red chili flakes optional, omit if you don't like heat
  • low-calorie cooking spray non-emulsifier based
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley or 1 tablespoon dried
  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Grill pan insert for air fryer
  • Small bowl

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes to achieve the perfect sear.
  2. Season the steak bites generously with paprika, onion powder, red chili flakes if using, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spray the grill pan insert with low-calorie cooking spray.
  4. Place seasoned steak bites on the grill pan in a single layer and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  5. Remove the grill pan, making sure to reserve any juices in the basket.
  6. Mix melted butter with minced garlic. Add steak bites to the air fryer basket and pour garlic butter mixture over them.
  7. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Preheat air fryer for best results. Use sirloin steak for quick cooking. Avoid stewing steak. Use salted butter for extra flavor. Use non-emulsifier-based spray to avoid sticky residue. Reserve juices when removing grill pan.
