Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts similar size for even cooking
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup Grade A amber preferred
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce regular or low-sodium
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard smooth or grainy
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) while you prepare the glaze.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until completely smooth.
  3. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the glaze adhere better.
  4. Coat chicken breasts thoroughly with the maple glaze mixture on all sides.
  5. Place chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer with space between them for air circulation.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.
  7. Remove chicken and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet with a tablespoon of broth or in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes. This recipe doubles easily - just cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
