Method
- Wash the zucchinis thoroughly under cool water, then dry them with a clean towel. Cut them into fry-shaped pieces, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each zucchini fry into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the breaded zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Cook the zucchini fries for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Feel free to customize the seasoning to your taste. You can add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or parmesan cheese for a cheesy flavor.
