- In a pot, bring the water to a boil
- Add the miso paste and stir until dissolved
- Add the tofu cubes and wakame seaweed, then let simmer for 5 minutes
- Stir in the soy sauce if using, and top with chopped green onions before serving
Notes
Don't boil the soup after adding miso paste to prevent bitterness. Different types of miso create different flavor profiles. Dissolve miso paste completely to avoid lumps.
