Ingredients
  

  • 10 pieces Fresh jalapeño peppers Halved and seeded.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Adds sharp flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs For topping, adds crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Adds depth to the filling.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika For a smoky flavor.
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • as needed Olive oil spray To lightly coat the tops.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  • Generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the jalapeño poppers with olive oil.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the filling with different ingredients like bacon, black beans, or herbs for a unique twist.
