  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets About 6 oz each. Fresh salmon is best, but frozen can work too.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for brightness.
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest Adds a burst of citrus flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill Chopped, complements salmon beautifully.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, adds savory depth.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and gently pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a greased baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
