- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and butter. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the salmon fillets. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a more intense lemon flavor, add lemon zest to the sauce. Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or roasted potatoes for a complete meal.
