  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Adds warmth and depth.
  • pinch salt Enhances flavor.
  • 50 g chocolate chips or nuts (optional) Extra ingredients for added flavor.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add oats, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. If using, gently fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  5. Use a tablespoon to scoop small portions of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
