  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking the salmon.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds flavor to the salmon.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For color and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper To season the salmon.
Bang Bang Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Base for the Bang Bang sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce Adds sweetness to the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust for desired spice level.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup For sweetness in the sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon Lime juice Adds acidity to balance flavors.

Method
 

  1. Prepare the salmon fillets by patting them dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth and creamy. Adjust Sriracha for desired heat.
  3. For the oven method, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. For the pan-seared method, heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, place the salmon on a serving plate and drizzle or brush the Bang Bang sauce generously over the top. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
  6. Serve the Bang Bang Salmon with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
