  • Spatula
  • measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Salmon fillets Skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For coating the salmon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Optional, for extra spice
  • Salt and black pepper To taste
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise For the bang bang sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce For the bang bang sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha For the bang bang sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Honey For the bang bang sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lime juice Freshly squeezed

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned salmon cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Alternatively, bake the salmon on a lined baking sheet in a preheated oven at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, or air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  • Once the salmon bites are cooked, toss them in the prepared bang bang sauce or drizzle the sauce over the salmon. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, lightly coat the salmon cubes in cornstarch before frying or air frying.
