- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onions, cooking until the beef is browned and no longer pink. Break it into bite-sized pieces as it cooks.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and yellow mustard to the cooked beef mixture. Stir well to combine all flavors, letting it simmer for a few minutes.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine light mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, and pickle juice. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Layer shredded iceberg lettuce as the base in each bowl. Top with seasoned beef mixture followed by shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with special sauce and add desired garnishes like chopped onions or tomatoes before serving.
