  • 1 cup diced tomatoes patted dry
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • Large mixing bowl
  • 8x8 baking dish
  • serving bowl

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning until completely smooth.
  2. Gently fold in crumbled bacon, ensuring even distribution throughout the creamy base.
  3. Carefully fold in diced tomatoes, keeping them intact and well-distributed.
  4. For chilled version: Add lettuce and fold in gently, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. For baked version: Spread mixture (without lettuce) in greased 8x8 baking dish and top with cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with crackers, crostini, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

Always pat tomatoes dry to prevent watery dip. Reserve some bacon and tomato for garnish. Add lettuce just before serving to maintain crispness.
