Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Brioche bread Rich and buttery, ideal for French toast.
  • 2 large Eggs Provides the custardy base.
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk Adds richness to the egg mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds aroma and sweetness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon Enhances flavor with warmth.
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter For cooking the French toast.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the brioche bread by cutting it into thick slices, about one inch each.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  • Soak each slice of brioche in the egg mixture for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the soaked brioche slices.
  • Cook each slice for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove from skillet and place on a serving plate. Drizzle generously with maple syrup and garnish with fresh berries and powdered sugar if desired.
