Ingredients
  

Salmon Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets About 6 oz each.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning For seasoning the salmon.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking the salmon.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Avocado Salsa Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Avocados Diced.
  • 1 small Red onion Finely chopped.
  • 1 medium Tomato Diced.
  • 1 whole Jalapeño Seeded and minced.
  • 1 lime Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning the salsa.
  • to taste Fresh cilantro Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub Cajun seasoning evenly over both sides of each fillet, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Carefully place the seasoned salmon fillets in the hot skillet.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the salmon develops a blackened crust and is cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine diced avocados, chopped red onion, diced tomato, and minced jalapeño. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently toss to combine.
  • On a plate, place a blackened salmon fillet and top it with a generous scoop of avocado salsa. Serve immediately.
