Cajun Grilled Chicken

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Fresh and high-quality for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adds a spicy kick.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For marinating the chicken.

  • Lemon wedges For serving.

Alabama White Sauce

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Base for the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar Adds tanginess.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For extra flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adds depth to the sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder For flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt For seasoning.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Optional for extra heat.

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  • Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until smooth and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the grilled chicken drizzled with Alabama white sauce and garnish with lemon wedges.
