  • 1 box brownie mix about 18.3 oz
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting optional

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until everything is well mixed and smooth.

Step 2: Bake the Cake

  • Pour Batter: Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Add Toppings: Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top of the batter if you like.
  • Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 3: Cool and Serve

  • Cool the Cake: Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Dust with Sugar: If desired, sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
