Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe Pears Choose firm yet slightly soft varieties like Bartlett or Anjou.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter For caramelizing the pears.

  • 4 cups Mixed salad greens A mix of arugula, spinach, and romaine.
  • 1/2 cup Crumbled blue cheese The star ingredient, providing bold flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Wash the pears under cool water, then core and slice them into thin wedges (about 1/4 inch thick). Set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once bubbling, sprinkle in the brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Add the sliced pears to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and tender. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed salad greens. Top with the caramelized pears, including the syrup from the skillet.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese and toasted walnuts over the salad.
  • Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad, season with salt and pepper, and toss gently to combine.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
