Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients: heavy cream, unsalted butter, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a medium-sized pot over medium heat, stirring gently until it becomes a lovely golden color.
  • Add the heavy cream to the melted butter and stir well. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer.
  • Gradually add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese to the simmering mixture, stirring continuously until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Season the sauce with garlic powder, salt, and freshly ground pepper to taste. Stir well to ensure even distribution.
  • Let the sauce simmer for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve over pasta, as a dip, or drizzled over vegetables.
