  • 1 pound smoked sausage cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Cut the potatoes and smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes and smoked sausage with olive oil, ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

Cut potatoes into uniform sizes for even cooking. You can swap the smoked sausage for chicken or turkey sausage. Consider swapping cheddar cheese for Monterey Jack or spicy pepper jack for variety.
