  • 1/4 cup Olive oil For marinating the chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Adds acidity and flavor.

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Adds depth to the marinade.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika Provides a smoky flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances overall flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken pieces on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove the grilled nuggets from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauce or side.
