- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken pieces on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
