Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish.
  • Pour barbecue sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with cheddar cheese, green onions, and bacon bits.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.

Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) for safety. Marinating the chicken can enhance flavor.
