  • 1/2 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped Adds crunch and freshness.

For Assembly
  • 4 pieces Croissants, halved The base of the sandwich.

Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken filling by shredding or chopping the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and Dijon mustard (if using). Mix until the chicken is well coated.
  3. Lay the bottom half of each croissant on a plate and add a layer of chopped romaine lettuce.
  4. Spoon the chicken Caesar filling over the lettuce, piling it high for a satisfying bite. Add sliced cherry tomatoes on top if desired.
  5. Place the top half of the croissant over the filling. Garnish with extra Parmesan shavings and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
