  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded or chopped Rotisserie chicken works great.
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing For a creamy texture and flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds a rich, cheesy flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder Enhances the flavor of the filling.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1/2 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped Adds crunch and freshness.
  • 1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes, sliced Optional, for added flavor.

For Assembly

  • 4 pieces Croissants, halved The base of the sandwich.
  • to taste Extra Parmesan shavings For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the chicken filling by shredding or chopping the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and Dijon mustard (if using). Mix until the chicken is well coated.
  • Lay the bottom half of each croissant on a plate and add a layer of chopped romaine lettuce.
  • Spoon the chicken Caesar filling over the lettuce, piling it high for a satisfying bite. Add sliced cherry tomatoes on top if desired.
  • Place the top half of the croissant over the filling. Garnish with extra Parmesan shavings and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
