Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 4 cups All-purpose flour For a soft and fluffy texture.

  • 1 packet Active dry yeast 2 1/4 teaspoons to help the dough rise.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To enhance the flavors.
  • 1 cup Whole milk Warmed to activate the yeast.
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter Melted for richness.
  • 2 large Eggs To bind the ingredients together.
Filling Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Softened for easy spreading.
  • 1 cup Brown sugar Packed for a deep, caramel-like flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon To give that warm spice.
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips For that gooey, chocolatey goodness.
Frosting Ingredients
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened for a smooth texture.
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter Softened to blend easily.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar For sweetness and creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract For added flavor.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Milk As needed for the right consistency.

Method
 

  1. Combine warm milk, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle active dry yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add eggs and salt to the mixture. Gradually add all-purpose flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, spread the cinnamon filling, and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Prepare the frosting by beating together cream cheese, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  10. Frost the warm rolls with the cream cheese frosting and serve.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
