Ingredients
  

Pancake Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Provides structure for the pancakes.

Cinnamon Swirl Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter Softened, to mix with sugar and cinnamon.

Cream Cheese Glaze Ingredients

  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened, for a rich glaze.
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar Sweetens the glaze.
  • 1 tablespoon Milk To thin the glaze.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract For added flavor in the glaze.

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Add softened butter and mix until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and drizzle cinnamon filling in a spiral pattern on top.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth to make the glaze.
  • Serve pancakes stacked high, drizzled with cream cheese glaze.
