- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt to the banana mixture, mixing gently.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and ground cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and finish with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
