Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Finely chop the onion and green bell pepper, and mince the garlic cloves.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, thyme, and oregano. Mix until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and mustard to create the glaze. Set aside half for later use.
  6. Brush the meatloaf with the remaining glaze and place it in the oven.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, brushing with the remaining glaze halfway through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
