Equipment

  • parchment paper
  • wire rack
  • Spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cottage cheese Provides a creamy texture and protein.
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour Helps bind the ingredients together.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder Enhances the savory taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Balances the flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper Adds a bit of heat.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika Gives a mild sweetness and color.
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil For greasing the baking sheet.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined and a thick batter forms.
  • Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading each mound into a thin, even layer. Leave some space between each chip as they will spread slightly while baking.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Once baked, remove the chips from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Serve the cottage cheese chips as a healthy snack on their own or with your favorite dip.
