Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients: heavy cream, unsalted butter, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter, stirring gently to avoid browning.
  3. Once the butter is melted, slowly add the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Heat until warm, but do not let it boil.
  4. Gradually whisk in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth. Stir for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash more cream to reach your desired consistency.
  6. Remove from heat and pour the sauce over your favorite cooked pasta. Toss gently to coat evenly and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
