Method
 

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Pour the ranch mixture over the seasoned chicken, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in the sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined and let heat through for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
