Ingredients
  

Shrimp Ingredients
  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or thawed if frozen.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (panko or regular) For a crispy coating.
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour For dredging the shrimp.
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten For binding the breadcrumbs.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds flavor to the shrimp.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For color and flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil spray To prevent sticking.
Sriracha Mayo Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Base for the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1 teaspoon Lime juice Adds acidity to the sauce.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning the mayo.

Method
 

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined and adjust Sriracha to taste.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs. Dip each shrimp in flour, then in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer and spray the tops with cooking spray.
  5. Air fry the shrimp for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve the crispy shrimp hot with the homemade Sriracha mayo for dipping.
