Method
- Slice the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into cutlets and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Coat each seasoned chicken cutlet in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure they stick.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded chicken cutlets in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Lightly spray the tops of the cutlets with cooking spray or olive oil spray. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken cutlets to ensure they reach 165°F (74°C). Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Cutlets are a healthier alternative to traditional frying, providing a satisfying crunch without excess oil.
